Heather Sterling Silver Earrings

Bell heather, found across the hills and moorlands of the Island and British Isles, its slender sprigs and rich colour is one of the defining sights of the late summer landscape.

Claire's hand sketched botanical studies capture every detail of the sprig before each one is meticulously hand carved in wax and cast in the workshop into sterling silver.  Each piece is then oxidised and polished by hand, a process that draws the eye into every tiny flower and stem, bringing the detail of the living plant to life in metal.

Worn as a connection to the open moorland and the wild places heather calls home.
