Sterling Silver Cowrie Shell Necklace

This gorgeous little pendant necklace forms part of my 'Shellseeker' collection. The Cowrie shell's have the most incredible texture and are so very beautiful, solid silver, exact replicas of the original shell. A little piece of sea life, immortalised in silver to be enjoyed for years to come!

Cowrie Shells have significance in many cultures. In the Isle of Man and other celtic and ancient nations such as Orkney, the Cowrie, or Groatie Buckie shell is seen as a token of good fortune. The Cowrie shell is not a common shell and it is because of this, it is well sought after and treasured when found.
