These beautifully detailed Queenie Shell Earrings were created from real scallop shells we found joined together on Derbyhaven Beach.  Cast in solid sterling silver, each earring captures the shell’s natural ridges and curves in exquisite detail - a perfect reflection of the sea’s artistry, preserved forever in silver.

The Isle of Man is famous for its Queen Scallops, or Manx Queenies, a treasured part of our Island’s heritage.  Local conservation work by the Manx Government and fishing community helps protect these delicate creatures, ensuring the Queenies continue to thrive in Manx waters.

Across many cultures, the scallop shell has long been seen as a symbol of journey, renewal, and beauty, its radiating lines reminiscent of the rising sun.

Hand-finished in our island workshop, these silver scallop shell earrings are a timeless celebration of our coastal landscape.  They make a beautiful keepsake or meaningful gift for anyone who loves the sea and the Isle of Man’s maritime heritage.
