About Element Isle

What is Element Isle?

Element Isle is a small family company based in the Isle of Man, run by Claire and Scott Pearse. You can read more about us here.

Can I visit you?

We would love you to come and see us. Our shop and workshop are based at Tynwald Mills, St Johns, Isle of Man. For opening times and directions please see the visit us page

The Jewellery

Where is the Jewellery made?

We are based in the Isle of Man.

What is your jewellery made from?

Our jewellery is made from traceable recycled precious metals. We have always used recycled silver & gold for our designs, supplied by a UK company using 100% recycled precious metals, fully traceable and equal in quality to un-recycled precious metals.​​​​​​​​

Does your Silver contain Nickel?

No, our Silver does not contain Nickel.

Occasionally, some people have a sensitivity/allergy to Nickel which can be found in some Sterling Silver. In addition to being 100% recycled and traceable, our Sterling Silver is certified 'Nickel Free', meaning that it is suitable for people with a sensitivity to Nickel.

Can you make a piece of jewellery for me like a picture I've seen?

Sorry, but that's not what we do. We make our jewellery and other people make their jewellery. If you like a piece that you've seen elsewhere, we suggest you reach out that maker regarding their designs. We make our own original designs.

I've lost an earring, can I buy one?

Sorry to hear that. If it is one that we still make then, yes you can. However it maybe isn't as straightforward as it might sound.

We make our earrings in pairs, this can include left & right, matching colour or shape, etc, and all of our workflows are set up to make matching pairs of earrings. To cover the admin time required to replace a single earring we can replace a single earring at 45% reduction to the price of a pair of earrings. Sizing / Chain Lengths

I want to buy a ring but I don't know what size I need

We have ring-sizers which can be found here. We include a coupon to the value of the ring sizer which can be redeemed against one of our rings, once you know what size you need.

Can I get a different length chain to the ones listed?

Yes. We list our regular pendants with 16, 18 or 20 inch chains but recognise that sometimes people would like a different length chain. If this is the case, please let us know via our contact form prior to ordering and we can do our best to meet your needs.

Please note that depending on the length of the chain required, there may be an additional charge. Our contact for can be found here.

Can I buy a pendant without a chain?

Yes, you can. If you would like to do this, please contact us using our contact form, here.

Materials / Environment

Gifting

I'm ordering a gift. Can you send it to the recipient directly?

Yes, we have options during checkout for you to enter a different shipping and billing address.

Can I add a gift note and/or gift wrapping?

Yes, there is a checkbox on each product page labelled 'This is a Gift'. If you check this box you can enter a gift note and you can also opt for gift wrapping.

Is there any paperwork included that will spoil the surprise for the recipient?

No. Apart for some international orders, we don't include any paperwork in the package that says what's included or its value.

We do however usually included some information regarding the collection that the piece is from, indicating it's significance and the inspiration for the collection.

I can't make up my mind. Can I send a Gift Card instead?

Yes, we have two types of Gift Cards.

Physical Gift Cards which can be sent to you, or direct to the gift recipient. If you check the box on the product page labelled 'This is a Gift', then you can also include a Gift Note.

We also have Electronic Gift Cards, which are delivered to you by email for you to print at home or forward on to your gift recipient.

Both types of Gift Cards include a code that can be used online or in store.

Gift Cards are valid for 12 months.

Ordering

I'd like to give you extra information with my order, how do I do this?

We have a section in the shopping cart called 'special instructions to seller', if you'd like to add a note to us regarding your order you can use this section. The shopping cart should appear once you have added an item to your cart. The shopping cart can be found here.

If you forgot to enter a note, or you've already placed your order you can either use the contact form, or you can reply to your order confirmation email. The contact form can be found here.

Shipping

Where do you ship to?

We usually ship worldwide, but sometime exclusions apply depending on global geopolitical situations and advice from the Post Office.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping varies based on your location and the shipping service that you opt for. Most locations are covered below. Shipping rates will be confirmed at checkout once shipping address has been entered.

Orders over £100 eligible for FREE worldwide standard shipping.

For orders under £100:

UK and Isle of Man

  • Standard Shipping (untracked): £4.00
  • Special Delivery (tracked): £8.50

EU

  • International Tracked/Signed: £12

USA

  • International Tracked/Signed: £20

Rest of World

  • International Tracked/Signed: £12

Returns

Can I return/exchange an item?

In most cases, yes. We have a 28-day return policy for purchases made online, which means you have 28 days after receiving your item to request a return. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, and in its original packaging. We are unable to accept returns/exchange of earrings due to hygiene regulations.

If you are returning or exchanging an item you will be responsible for covering the cost of the postage back to us and any subsequent postage back to you.

Sales / Discounts

Do you sometimes have sales?

We remain competitively priced all year round meaning that you can be confident that the price that you see is the best price available.

Do you have promo codes?

Not conventional promo codes, no. We do have a box at checkout for 'promo codes' however this is only used for specific purposes relating to an order. The code entered may adjust the price as the customer only wants one earring instead of a pair, or they wish to buy a pendant only without a chain. Please don't worry if you don't have a code to enter, you are not missing out.
