Langness – Balance Pendant

Each piece in our Balance collection is inspired by the natural tones and textures of our Island’s coastline, places that hold stories, memories, and a deep sense of belonging.

Langness, meaning “long promontory” in Old Norse, marks the southernmost tip of the Island - a wild and windswept headland where the land stretches out into the sea.  The colours chosen for this pendant reflect that landscape: cool stony greys, soft ocean blues, and a touch of verdant green, like the seaweed strewn bays or grasses clinging to the cliffs above.

Crafted in solid sterling silver, this pendant is beautifully smooth and tactile, designed to be worn and held.  One side is layered with enamel in carefully chosen hues; the other features a simple stack of polished silver pebbles.  A versatile design, full of quiet detail.

Balance is about harmony, a sense of calm, connection, and presence.  Just like walking the coastline and feeling the wind and salt air settle your thoughts, this piece is a gentle reminder to find stillness in motion, and strength in simplicity.
